Why The Democrats Will Fail

The Democrats think they have won a great victory, with this election giving them what they believe is a mandate to change the country and force their liberal policies down the throats of hard working Americans.

These Democrats will do everything in their power to try and stifle any attempt anyone who doesn’t believe in their extreme views, see Joe Lieberman, or anyone who believes that we can not tuck tail and run.

Why do the Democrats continue to ignore the words of our own enemy? They have said on multiple occasions how much they want to take over Iraq ad they want us gone and the Democrats are going to give the terrorists exactly what they want.

They want a withdrawal or a phased redeployment which no matter which way you put it is retreating, Nancy Pelosi even said herself that “this is not a war to win, but a problem to solve”, and these comments show what the Democrats really believe.

The American people do not want higher taxes and amnesty for illegals and that goes for Bush’s stupid “comprehensive immigration reform” as well, which if given the chance the American people would soundly defeat any such measure.

The Democrats will fail because the people will be able to see that it’s not them they care about, but furthering their own agenda to make this country as insane as they clearly are.

All they have is their hatred for President Bush and the Iraq War, it was quite obvious that they loved it when the body count got over 100 deaths of American soldiers in Iraq, they loved being able to use the deaths of brave Americans to smear Republicans and take control of the House and Senate.

The Democrats seem to be happy and gloating everywhere, but because they do not control the Senate by a big enough margin President Bush will be able to wield the ultimate weapon against them, the veto pen.

With Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld now out of the way, Bush now has the opportunity to set a new path to achieve what we all want, ultimate victory in Iraq and the withdrawal of some troops when it permits.

I am glad Rumsfeld is no longer the Secretary of Defense; I have in previous posts called for him to go and for someone to arrive who would be able to crush these savages unmercifully.

While I would love to see someone in the mold of another one of my heroes, Patton, this would be a person who will be able to understand the nature of the people that we are dealing with and recognize that they only know violence and that unless we beat them without remorse we can not win.

Now the Democrats must show this country that they will not take the legs from underneath the very soldiers fighting to protect them and their freedoms.

The Democrats also need to show the world that they will not retreat from the war on terror and evil despots across the world by undermining the President.

Now is the time that Democrats have to act, they say that a change of course is needed, but what is that change? They want to raise the minimum wage, oh big deal huh?

Just about every state in the country has a far higher minimum wage than the national one, so what would be the point of that?

I’m a little hesitant to take the Democrats at their word on just about any issue, I have seen for my own eyes their undermining the President, the military and the general war effort, even the ultra liberal CNN decided to air openly terrorist propaganda, it just sickens me.

Unless the Democrats show me something different my opinion of them will stay the same, pretty much worthless.

Not The Democrats way

I find it completely amazing that some Democrats still don’t get the idea that we are at war and that Iraq is only one front of that greater war on those savage towel heads.

Osama himself believes we are a paper tiger because of the actions of the previous administration and how they did not have the testicular fortitude to do what is necessary to win and kill Osama.

Rep. Mark Kennedy from MN, on Iraq: "This is the number one issue in this race, and there are stark differences between my opponent, Ms. Klobuchar, and myself. She says it's a distraction. I think that it is one of the central fronts in the war on terror. Osama bin Laden and Zarqawi says as well. She has set out a specific timetable for bringing our troops home that would tell the terrorists when they can take over an oil-rich country as a sanctuary for terrorists. And I believe we ought to be bringing our troops home as soon as we can after we're sure the terrorists can't win. And she's also come out against a bill funding body armor for our troops that a majority of Democrats join me in supporting. We have no higher priority than to support our troops in time of war, and we have to win this war on terror."

He has is exactly right which is one of the reasons I will be voting for him and a GOP ticket straight down the line.

The Democrats continually drone on about how we need “a change of course in Iraq”, but the only thing I hear is that we need to leave or we need to set a timetable, or as John Murtha has been championing, that we must redeploy our forces outside of Iraq so if there is a problem we can come right back in.

None of these options are acceptable in any way and one of them would do great harm to us, but that doesn’t stop the Democrats.

The Democrats already believe they will win and that’s that, they have been trying to suppress the votes of the right by trying to tell everyone that it’s already said and done and they thought the Mark Foley scandal would make the religious right not vote for the GOP, what they have done is reinforce these people’s decision to vote for people who claim to be a party of all people but than circulate a list of gay Republicans hoping that it will hurt there chances.

From what everyone says it’s going to be Hillary as the Democrat presidential nominee and I couldn’t be happier, because if that’s all the Democrats have, than they are even worse off than I thought.

If you ever heard her talk before than you know she sounds like someone is taking their fingernails and scratching a damn chalkboard, she does not inspire when she talks and that is something that John Kerry didn’t have either and it cost him.

To those of you who come here and try and tell me that the Democrats have a better way, than explain it to me please, what do the Democrats believe in? What is their platform?

I do know that they believe in death (abortion), they believe in higher taxes for social programs, for people who don’t take personal responsible for themselves and they are trying to force the gay agenda down the throats of the schools in the hopes of brainwashing the children of this country.

I for one will be sending my kids to private schools when the time comes, and I will teach them that the proper way to raise a family is with a father and a mother.

I also know that the Democrats have opposed voter ID’s wherever they are brought up, they say it is discriminating against the poor, which is a total crock of shit.

In Arizona where this law was blocked by a insane liberal judge, they even said they would pay for the ID of those who could not get one, but that’s not good enough for the ACLU and Jesse Jackson, they want the ability to have mass voter fraud.

Everyday I see the Democrats attacking our President, our troops and our very way of life, telling us who and what we must accept, this is a free country and there are certain lifestyles I disagree with and that I will think are normal and I will not teach my kids that those actions normal.

If you want higher taxes, amnesty for illegal aliens and a retreat on the war on terror than by all means vote for the Democrats, but I will not be.

A Mistake The Democrats Will Regret

The Democrats have made a fatal flaw and it is time for the Republicans in power to go after them for their baseless lies and leaks that they have thrown at the Bush Administration in an attempt to sway the vote in the upcoming election hoping to gain control of the House and the Senate.

There was Bubba in all of his glory on Fox and I’m sure that he was thinking that this interview was like all the others and that only softball questions would be asked.

He was given a rude surprise when Chris Wallace asked former president Clinton why he did not do more to fight Al- Qaida and capture Osama Bin Laden prior to the devastating attacks on that fateful day of 9/11.

The response that Clinton gave has drawn great criticism and rightly so, he tried to convey the image of himself relentlessly pursuing Bin Laden and that it was Republicans who stood in the way of that pursuit.

"That's the difference in me and some, including all of the right-wingers who are attacking me now," Clinton said in the interview. "They ridiculed me for trying. They had eight months to try. They did not try."

He also went on to say that he and his administration left a comprehensive anti-terror strategy for the Bush administration to follow.

These statements we all know to be a fundamental lie, even Condi Rice stated as much, but of course why would that stop Clinton from saying it?

"We were not left a comprehensive strategy to fight al-Qaida," said Condi Rice being interviewed.

Of course Hillary was soon to follow with her screech and let everyone know that she did not feel the same way.

"I think my husband did a great job in demonstrating that Democrats are not going to take these attacks," Hillary said.

"I'm certain that if my husband and his national security team had been shown a classified report entitled 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack inside the United States' he would have taken it more seriously than history suggests it was taken by our current president and his national security team."

I almost had to laugh when I heard this; I mean anyone with half a brain cannot believe this in any fashion.

The Clinton administration showed the world what they would do in the face of terrorism and adversity.

Time and time again the United States was attacked and he did nothing, the first World Trade Center bombing, the attacks on our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the bombing of the Knobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, the attacks in Somalia that have been linked to Al-Qaida, (Blackhawk down), and the bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen.

If the Democrats really want to make this upcoming election about the security of our country than they will do themselves a disservice because if the American people look at their record than I believe that they will flock to the GOP this election no matter what polls you see the liberal media trying to stuff down your throat.

The people of this country want to move forward not dwell on the past as the Democrats fancy, but make this country stronger and better for our children, but all the Democrats care about is trying to bring down the President who they hate without question, for that is what is driving everything, hatred of the President by the insane left.

Iran leader says U.S. abusing U.N. power

Iraq and Lebanon on Tuesday, and accused Washington of abusing its power in the U.N. Security Council to punish others while protecting its own interests and allies.

He addressed the annual U.N. General Assembly hours after President Bush spoke to the same forum. But while Ahmadinejad harshly criticized the United States, Bush directed his remarks to the Iranian people in a clear insult to the hard-line government.

In his speech, Bush pointed to the Iranian government's rejection of a Security Council demand to stop enriching uranium by Aug. 31 or face sanctions.

"The greatest obstacle to this future is that your rulers have chosen to deny you liberty and to use your nation's resources to fund terrorism and fuel extremism and pursue nuclear weapons," the U.S. leader said.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke to the United Nations annual assembly yesterday in what I can only describe as a disgrace to this country and our very way of life.

This is a man who has openly and proudly defied our country over its nuclear enrichment program and he has openly and gleefully stated that he would be more than happy to exchange the lives of half of Iran to destroy Israel.

This is also a man who has openly denied that the Holocaust even took place, showing his utter contempt for the Jewish state and its people, while supporting terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah.

The Pope was just quoting a text used by others to describe Islam and how it has been spread by the sword and how it is corrupt with violence.

So what do the Muslims do? They proved the point of the Pope by themselves with the attacks on churches, killing of Nuns and the burning effigies of the Pope and the pledges of death the have been widespread across the Islamic world.

I have no problem believing that Islam can be a religion of peace, but the only problem is that I do not see that being practiced that way except in some very rare places, the United States being one of them.

They are calling for the killings of the crusaders around the world, meaning our troops all over the world fighting these savages and against our allies such as France and Britain.

I am totally offend and disgusted with our government allowing this piece of human waste to enter our great country that he has vowed to destroy, it is unthinkable to me.

New York has the largest Jewish population of any city in our country, were are the people of New York to protest this savage as the do our President and Christianity?

Islam will not prevail is this struggles between faiths. Our country will not fall and we will not back down, this you can count on.

Muslims Show The World Their True Nature

Everyday when I scan and read the news wires to find stories for this blog, but the one thing that I am never in short supply of is stories containing violence and death perpetrated by what Michael Savage first dubbed “Islamic fascists”.

When President Bush used this same term a couple years later he was maliciously attacked by so called Muslim activist groups who continue to preach to us and tells us that Islam is the “religion of peace”, but what they fall to do on a regular basis is show the same outrage when a terrorists attacks occurs.

Where are the huge massive protests to condemn these terrorists and the actions they use?

We have seen them so up for the destruction and massive protests when it comes to matters as serious as a cartoon, because we all know cartoons will cause the death of us all.

Anyone who even criticizes Islam is brought under attack and is labeled racists, but the fact remains that no one in the world is killing more people than Muslims and I sure don’t see Irish or Japanese people chopping off heads while praying to god.

Now I believe they have gone too far and the world can finally see how much hate and anger the Muslim world has for Christianity and its followers.

Christians around the world must unite to defend our way of life and our civilization from these savages who wish nothing more than to kill every single one of us.

People, mainly liberals, believe that we are the reason for these terrorists and the cause for attacks on our country and troops.

They could not be more wrong.

They say they are attacking us for our foreign policies and because we have military bases on Muslim holy land, but the truth is that Muslim savages have been attacking this country from our inception and it will not end until we destroy them.

Barbary pirates where attacking American shipping and ransoming our government for safe passage in trade routes, these attacks forced the United States government to start the juggernaut now known as the United States Navy.

Many Muslim clerics around the world have condemned the Pope, and for me that is the last straw.

We can not stand by idle while our world is being taken over by brutal savages who shoot nuns in the back and strap bombs to children.

I do believe that Islam if applied correctly could be a great religion that could do much for the world, but I reject the notion that this faith has been hijacked by a small number of people for their own personal gain.

Every country in the world that has Islam as apart of its government and creation is inherently violent and totally brutal with the bare minimum of rights for its women citizens and it treats its openly gay citizens by dropping a stone wall on them.

The hard-line clerics around the world have called for the destruction of the west and Israel not to mention the brutal killing of as many Americans as can be possible.

We cannot continue to turn a blind eye to what these savages are saying and preaching about us; we must take them at their word and act accordingly to prevent the subjugation of our world.

Europe is too weak and has been invaded by these animals and is incapable of action, one only has to look to France and the riots of last year when the Muslims of that country went berserk and set fire to everything, this would be the Muslim equivalent to our peaceful protests.

I have tried to give Islam a fair shake, but everyday I am given cause to stop and think when I see the massive scale of death and hardship caused by the followers of this supposed “religion of peace”.

Until this savagery is brought under control people including myself will doubt the convictions of those Muslims who claim to condemn these heinous attacks against our country.

The Muslim world must prove itself, if they truly are the “religion of peace”, than show the world; show this country, shows me.

Does this really surprise anyone? It seems that the Muslims get very angry over anything little thing these days.

It would not surprise me at all to see some people get killed over this since that's what the Muslims love to do to show their frustration.

If the the Muslim world really wants to start a conflict with this church they better think of the consequences of that action.

I hope they remember what we did to them the last time we had a a major war between the faiths.

I do not have a hard time believing that savage Muslims would welcome this chance to kill as many of us as they can.

They already believe that the fight is on, this is why they hoard to Iraq to fight the crusaders aka "our Troops" and it is a very sad fact that we can not come together and fight this enemy will all the force that this country has to offer.

We are the strongest country in the world and we need to start acting like and make these opposing countries that rely heavily on us fall into line with what the international community wants.

The Pope is a good man why must the savage Muslims always attack the most peaceful people in their quest to take over the entire world.

It is this countries best interests to come together and untie and fight this enemy who does not separate Democrat and Republican when they decide to attack.

The liberals believe that some how they will be spared when the enemy holds a sword over there necks. They wants them dead even more as the Arab world does not allow gay people at all.

A Tribute To Frank Joseph Doyle

On the morning of September 11th I was laying in bed sleeping, trying to heal my surgically repaired right knee that I had surgery on the day before.

I was awoken suddenly by my sister as she rushed into the room and yelled at me to wake up and that we were under attack.

My first response has gotten a laugh out of many people. When she told me that someone was attacking us and with me still a little groggy the only thing I could say was, “who the hell would be that stupid?”

Since I was unable to move my sister turned on the T.V. for me as I was just astonished as I watched the second plane fly into the south tower.

Frank Joseph Doyle, 39, Englewood N.J., was in his office at the time in the south tower as he was the head of equity trading for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.

Frank called his wife Kimmy after terrorists struck the World Trade Center's north tower.

"I have to stay," he said.

After the south tower, which contained Mr. Doyle's office, was struck, he called her again, saying that he and many others were trapped. "He very calmly said, 'We need your help,' "

Frank was the father of two children, Zoe his daughter and Garrett his son and had a wonderful wife of 4 years named Kimmy Chedel.

He grew up playing sports all his life, mostly Hockey which he excelled at gaining praise as a goalie; he was also a big Tigers fan.

He coached hockey to kids and ran triathlons with his wife, all the while touching the people met everyday.

It truly is a shame that a great person and a great American was taken from us 5 years ago, I pray good fortune for his children who have been robbed of there father by suicidal maniacs.

When you think of are troops over seas remember that one of the reasons that they fight for us is so that children like Zoe and Garrett do not have to grow up without a father and they don’t have to grow up in a world full of hate and venom that emanates from the Middle East.

Today pray for Frank and his children and every other American soul that perished on that fateful day.

We must honor them and we must never forget there sacrifice and not let it be in vain.

We cannot forget the enemy we face is unlike any we have ever faced before, they do not care about there lives or the lives of any person not adhering to their strict interpretation of Islam.

They will continue to kill innocent people like Frank Doyle until we come together and stop them.

I only hope that I have done my part to honor this great American.

Syria To Form Its Own Hezbollah

JERUSALEM – On the heels of what it views as a Hezbollah victory against the Jewish state, Syria is forming its own Hezbollah-like guerilla organization to fight Israel in hopes of "liberating" the Golan Heights, an official from Syrian President Bashar Assad's Ba'ath party told WorldNetDaily yesterday.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Syria learned from Hezbollah's military campaign against Israel the past month that "fighting" is more effective than peace negotiations with regard to gaining territory.

He said Syria's new guerilla force would be trained by Hezbollah leaders.

"Syria is very serious about establishing this new guerilla force," the official said.

In a televised address yesterday, Assad declared Hezbollah's path of "resistance" achieved results during the last four weeks of fighting against Israel.

"The region has changed because of the achievements of the resistance [Hezbollah]," said Assad, speaking to a journalists association.

Assad said members of Hezbollah used their "will, determination and faith" to counter Israeli arms, enabling the Lebanese militia to defeat Israel.

"We tell them [Israelis] that after tasting humiliation in the latest battles, your weapons are not going to protect you – not your planes, or missiles or even your nuclear bombs. ... The future generations in the Arab world will find a way to defeat Israel," Assad said.

The Front for the Liberation of the Golan’s main mission aside from attacking and killing as many Jewish people as possible is the return by all means necessary of the Golan Heights.

Syria is the culprit this time; they believe that the military conflict in southern Lebanon is proof that fighting a guerilla war against Israel will be more effective in the long run to gain territory than to use peace negotiations.

This decision that Syria has come to is a troubling one, we hardly need another large scale guerilla force in the Middle East, and there have already been too many deaths at the hands of these Muslim guerilla armies.

The guerilla armies have been advancing in technology, tactics and weaponry, receiving hundreds of anti-tank rockets from Iran, some even powerful enough to attack buildings where Israeli soldiers have sought refuge.

There are now even reports of Hezbollah fighters using British night vision goggles including a cache of the NVG’s found at a Hezbollah command and control center in southern Lebanon.

If groups such as this new one continue to attack Israeli without regard for innocent people then they must expect the retaliation of the Israeli military and a full airborne attack.

Israel has also mounted a raid in southern Lebanon on a Hezbollah stronghold aimed at stopping them from rearming via Syria and Iran.

Iran is ultimately responsible for the actions taken against Israel by its proxy Hezbollah; therefore it is directly responsible for the many deaths of innocent people in both Lebanon and Israel.

Israel must not allow this new Syrian guerilla army to gain the level of sophistication that Hezbollah now enjoys.

It would be a devastating mistake for Israel if they were to allow them to arm and train personnel and become a legitimate force in the Middle East.

Top Iranian cleric warns US over nuclear standoff

TEHRAN (AFP) - Top Iranian cleric Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani warned the United States not to seek confrontation with Tehran over its nuclear program and to learn from the war in Lebanon.

"We expect America to have learned enough (from the Israel-Hezbollah war) not to enter another game and upset the security of the region," Rafsanjani said in his Friday prayer sermon carried live on state radio.

The former president said the United States would be wise to try and resolve its nuclear standoff with Iran through negotiations.

Washington said Thursday it will move quickly for UN Security Council action on sanctions against Iran if Tehran refuses to halt its sensitive uranium enrichment work by August 31, as demanded by a UN resolution.

The United States and other Western countries suspect that Iran is enriching uranium to use in nuclear weapons. Iran insists the program is to make fuel for civilian reactors.

The US administration has never ruled out military option against Iran to resolve the standoff.

Iran has said it will reply by August 22 to a package of incentives offered by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany to halt its uranium enrichment program.

So once again we have been warned by one of Iran’s top clerics not to pursue in our efforts to halt the enrichment of uranium, which most of the world believes is just a cover for a nuclear weapons program.

It is my belief that Iran directed Hezbollah to take such actions against Israel as a way to distract the world from its enrichment program, which the United Nations has called a stop to.

The President of Iran has repeatedly said that, “Israel must be wiped off the map,” and that the Holocaust is just a big lie.

He has also said that if the rest of the world, mainly Europe and the US, believe that the Holocaust happened, than it should be us who gives land to the Jews and make a state of Israel in Europe.

He has made the case that while a nuclear strike against Iran would kill millions it would not destroy the country, however a nuclear strike against Israel would wipe out the whole country.

We can not allow this crazy savage to wield or posses a nuclear weapon, I have no doubt that given the chance he would more than happily hand over a nuke to Hezbollah or any other terrorist organization.

If Iran attacked US troops in Iraq using missiles or anything of that nature, it would be the biggest mistake since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad thinks that we will back down, but if he attacked us he must be ready for the fight of his life, because our military force could crush that backwards ass country.

If he keeps pressing on the nuclear issue, he is going to get a chance to see close up the awesome power of the Untied States military and the best trained troops in the world.

I do not believe that Iran will come to its senses and I also believe that the United Nation will take no forceful action that is in any way meaningful.

France Said To Want Only Symbolic Force

UNITED NATIONS - Countries that could contribute to an expanded U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon were gathering Thursday to find out how the troops will operate, and U.N. officials hoped many would commit soldiers.

France, meanwhile, wants to send a small, purely symbolic contingent to the force, and the
United Nations is trying to convince French officials that such a decision would be devastating, a news report said Thursday.

Though France has been widely expected to lead the force, the newspaper Le Monde reported that it planned to contribute merely 10 officers and 200 military engineers.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan was expected to call President Jacques Chirac on Thursday to persuade France to make a larger commitment, Le Monde said, citing unidentified diplomatic sources.

A French Defense Ministry spokesman declined to comment on the report.

The U.N. resolution that led to Monday's cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah authorized up to 15,000 U.N. peacekeepers to help 15,000 Lebanese troops extend their authority throughout south Lebanon, which Hezbollah controls.

The aim is to create a buffer zone free of Hezbollah fighters between Lebanon's Litani River and the U.N.-drawn border, about 20 miles to the south.

French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said in an interview with France-2 television Wednesday that the mandate of the strengthened force is still "fuzzy" and warned that the United Nations needs to spell out its exact mission and rules of engagement.

That's what U.N. peacekeeping officials will do at a meeting Thursday afternoon chaired by Deputy Secretary-General Mark Malloch Brown.

Britain's U.N. Ambassador Emyr Jones Parry said he expects early agreement at the meeting on the concept of operations and the rules of engagement, which have been drafted with help from French and U.S. military planners.

So the French only want to send a symbolic force, somewhere around 210 soldiers, that proves that France is not serious about the plan that they brokered and that they could give two shits about Israel or the peace.

If France wants itself to be taken seriously and as an international power than it needs to proceed as such, they have been divisive and very weak when it come to dealing with the infestation of immigrants that they have in that country.

I’m all sure you remember the riots of not that long ago, where the savage Muslim youths went around setting every car ablaze and causing thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage.

I am sick and tired of every time a Muslim or Arab does something to hurt someone or inflict mass damage, they totally downplay his background and only vaguely state the region that the perp is from.

If France truly wants peace in the Middle East than they must help to achieve it, not just talk about it, but truly help the process along by providing troops to help create the buffer zone with Israel and to help make sure that Iran and Syria do not once again rearm Hezbollah.

Now ex-president Jimmy Carter (bozo deluxe) has stated in an interview with a German paper that the world should forget about the Holocaust and we should forget our history when it comes to German troops on the border with Israel.

While I am all for moving forward and not dwelling on the past, this is something that can not be overlooked or bypassed in anyway.

I have no problem with Germany deploying troops to help the violence and to create that buffer zone, but they should not be deployed near the border with Israel, there are other areas in the country which need troops that Germany could have a part in.

I just believe that it is a very tricky and delicate situation, no one, myself included is trying to equate the Germany of today with that of the 1930’s and 40’s, we all know that Germany is a vastly different country than before and thankful for that.

If France wants to be a leader in international politics than they need to lead from the front or get the hell out of the way, it’s as simple as that.

Well apparently some people did not understand what I was trying to say when I compared the IRA and Hezbollah/Hamas. For some reason some of you think that I support the IRA or that I am not being as hard on them as Muslim terrorists because they are white Europeans. Both are very wrong, I do not support terrorism in any form and believe that any terrorists should be brought to justice no matter what race they are or for what cause they fight for. What I believe is that the IRA while terrorists cannot be compared with those savages of the Middle East. Yes I know fully what the IRA has done, they have killed many innocent people, but there is a difference between these terrorist groups and that difference cannot be ignored. Hezbollah and Hamas respectively do not fight to unite a country and they sure as hell do not fight with an honor. The IRA for the most part does not specifically target civilians, it has happened, but for the most part is come as collateral damage when they target the police or military targets. They also do not make it a practice of strapping bombs to children then exploding them, I also do not see the IRA chopping heads off and then posting it on the internet. Not to mention that the IRA does not want to impose its religious views upon the entire world. This does not excuse their actions in anyway; I’m just trying to explain the difference. Now take Hezbollah/Hamas, they have absolutely no problem chopping heads off and targeting children to make their point, they are gleeful in the fact that they want you to pray to their god or you they will kill chanting his name. These crazies only fight for their religion, and have no honor, they want to take over the world and make bow before them. While I am part English my loyalties lie first and foremost to the United States and than to Ireland, the British have been more than ruthless in the dealings with the Irish over the years and while I do not hate the English in any way, I still do not like the fact that they have not left Ireland to the Irish. I do call upon the British to cease their holdings in Northern Ireland and cede those areas back to the Irish to whom which they belong. I do not excuse The IRA of anything and they are terrorists, but not in the same fashion as those Islamo-Fascists we also fight. Well someone had to bring up the IRA or the Irish Republican Army. For those of you who have no idea what the IRA is let me give you a little back round.
The Ira was created with the formation of the Irish Republic in the late 1910’s and became the Irish Republican Army, when Northern Ireland was officially created in 1920, those members of the IRA who where not happy with the treaty split and continued its efforts at creating a unified and free Ireland, without England. Yes they have killed innocent people, and yes I don’t exactly agree with it, but I do understand it.
All Ireland has wanted was to govern herself and be a united country without the influence from outside forces that has plagued most of the history, that’s not asking too much I believe.
If you want to compare them with the terrorists we fight today, its’ going to be quite hard. First of all Israel has given lands back to the Palestinians such as in the Gaza Strip, and has moved from other areas that they had been previously occupying, such as southern Lebanon.
Now Israel received many attacks because of the occupation of said territories and when she decided to gives those areas back, as a way to further the peace process, what did they get except for more attacks?
If England had or in the future gives back Northern Ireland to the people of Ireland, the IRA would for the most part not bother England, it would have no reason. What they are fighting for is much different than what those savages in the Middle East are fighting for.
If you want to compare the two go ahead you will only embarrass yourself. The IRA fights for Irish unity and independence. Hamas and Hezbollah say they fight for their own people, but yet they are only for the destruction of Israel and the subjugation and death of all who do not view the world in their extreme and screwed up view.
The IRA also does not make it a practice of chopping the heads off of people and strapping bombs to innocent children. The Irish at least have some honor, not like these savages in the Middle East.
The IRA has committed acts of murder, it has killed innocent people, it has set off bombs, and I do not debate this at all, but when was the last time you heard about the IRA exploding a massive bomb in an ice cream shop, or pulling teachers out of school and executing them right in front of their students. Do you hear the IRA killing people just because they wear shorts? Do you hear about them? NO? Guess what, that’s because it is NOT happening.
Do not take this as me supporting the IRA, I’m just saying I can understand what they are doing opposed to say Hezbollah or Hamas. Also the IRA is not trying oppressing all those who do not think the same way as them.
Ultimately terrorism in all its forms should be fought and defeated, I am just a little more worried about those savages in dirty sheets than I am about the IRA.

Israel's defense minister said his country would accept an international force, preferably
NATO, on its border after it drives back or weakens Hezbollah. But his troops described the militants they encountered as a smart, well-organized and ruthless guerrilla force whose fighters do not seem afraid to die.

The United States backs Israel's refusal to talk about a cease-fire until it completes the military campaign against Hezbollah, but is under increasing pressure to foster a plan to end the growing suffering and destruction in Lebanon.

Still, daily casualty figures appeared to be falling — about nine confirmed Sunday by Lebanese security officials, compared with dozens each day earlier in the week. The decrease could be a result of the exodus from the hardest-hit areas or because of the difficulty for authorities in getting figures from the war zone.

In the 12th day of fighting, guerrillas launched more than a dozen rockets at the Israeli city of Haifa, killing two people. Israeli missiles struck a convoy of fleeing Lebanese, killing four people, including a journalist.

In the far south, fighting with Hezbollah raged around the Israeli military's foothold in Lebanon — the border village of Maroun al-Ras, where the Israeli army has maintained a significant presence since Saturday. But so far they were not advancing. Hezbollah reported three of its fighters killed.

All these Arab countries are calling for a cease-fire is nothing more than a joke, what reason should Israel even contemplate a cease-fire? Israel hinted at a full-scale invasion.

Israeli warplanes also launched new airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs, a Hezbollah stronghold, shortly after daybreak, followed by strikes in the guerrillas' heartland in the south and eastern Bekaa Valley.

The strikes followed bombings Wednesday that killed as many as 70 people, according to Lebanese television, making it the deadliest day since the fighting began July 12.

Russia sharply criticized Israel over its onslaught against Lebanon, now in its ninth day, sparked when Hezbollah militants captured two Israeli soldiers. The Russian Foreign Ministry said Israel's actions have gone "far beyond the boundaries of an anti-terrorist operation" and repeating calls for an immediate cease-fire.

At least 306 people have been killed in Lebanon since the Israeli campaign began, according to the security forces control room that collates casualties. In Israel, 29 people have been killed, including 14 soldiers. The U.N. has said at least a half- million people have been displaced in Lebanon.

About 40 U.S. Marines landed in Beirut to help Americans onto the USS Nashville, which will carry 1,200 evacuees bound for Cyprus in the second mass U.S. exodus from Lebanon.

Thousands of Europeans also fled on ships — continuing one of the largest evacuation operations since World War II. An estimated 13,000 foreign nationals have been evacuated.

The entire world has pushed for Israel to engage in the peace process and try to work to some compromise with its Arab Muslim neighbors. NYT to cut paper size and close plant

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The New York Times Co. plans to narrow the size of its flagship newspaper and close a printing plant, resulting in the loss of 250 jobs, the company said in a story posted on its Web site late on Monday.

The changes, set to take place in April 2008, include the closure of a printing plant in Edison, New Jersey. The company will sublet the plant and consolidate its regional printing facilities at a plant in Queens, the paper said.

The newspaper will be narrower by 1 1/2 inches. The redesign will result in the loss of 250 production jobs, the company said.

The New York Times said it expected the changes to result in savings of $42 million.
The narrower format, offset by some additional pages, will reduce the space the paper has for news by 5 percent, Executive Editor Bill Keller said in the article.

The Times will join a list of several other papers from The Washington Post to the Los Angeles Times that have reduced their size as they cut newsprint and other production costs and try to stem a loss of readers and advertising to the Internet and other media.

Olmert Sets Conditions For End To Fighting

Israel were stopped, and the Lebanese army was deployed along the border.

Delivering an impassioned speech to parliament after six days of fighting with Lebanon, Olmert said Israel would have no mercy on militants who attack its cities with rockets, and he pledged to destroy terrorist infrastructure.

"We shall seek out every installation, hit every terrorist helping to attack Israeli citizens, destroy all the terrorist infrastructure, in every place. We shall continue this until Hezbollah does the basic and fair things required of it by every civilized person," he said in his first major address since the fighting in Lebanon began last week.

"Israel will not agree to live in the shadow of the threat of missiles or rockets against its residents."

Israeli officials have said publicly that Israel would not stop fighting until Hezbollah, a Shiite militia that controls much of south Lebanon, is dismantled. But Olmert's comments Monday — seeking the release of the soldiers, the end of Hezbollah attacks on Israel, and the deployment of Lebanese troops in south Lebanon — seemed to be a softening of that position.

In the past six days, 24 Israelis, half of them civilians, were killed in the fighting with Lebanon, while nearly 200 Lebanese, many of them civilians, were killed on the other side. The fighting began when Hezbollah kidnapped the soldiers in a cross-border raid. Since then, Israel has pounded Lebanon with airstrikes and Hezbollah has fired barrages of rockets and missiles into Israeli towns and cities.

"We are not looking for war or direct conflict, but if necessary we will not be frightened by it," Olmert said.

Iran Aided Hezbollah Ship Attack

JERUSALEM - Elite Iranian troops helped Hezbollah fire a sophisticated radar-guided missile at an Israeli warship, Israeli officials said Saturday, describing an apparent surprise blow by militants who had been using only low-tech weapons.

Iran denied that it had any troops in Lebanon.

Israel initially believed that an aerial drone armed with explosives hit the warship, but it became clear that Hezbollah had used an Iranian-made C-802 missile to strike the vessel late Friday, an Israeli intelligence official said on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the information.

Iran's embassy in Beirut issued a statement late Saturday that called the Israeli allegations "meaningless."

It is "an attempt to escape reality with the aim of covering up (Israel's) inability to confront the Lebanese nation and resistance," the statement said.

One Israeli sailor was killed and three were missing after the attack. The ship was returning to its home port in Israel, the army said.

About 100 fighters from Iran's Revolutionary Guard helped import, equip and fire the missile at the Spear, a missile ship cruising off the coast of Lebanon, which is under an Israeli naval blockade, Israeli officials said.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad condemned Israel's military offensive in Lebanon, saying "the Zionist regime behaves like Hitler," Iranian state television reported.

Hezbollah is widely believed to have been trained, funded and guided by the Revolutionary Guard since the militant group was founded during Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon.

The Islamic republic's elite corps of more than 200,000 fighters is independent of the regular armed forces and directly controlled by Iran's supreme leader.

Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood hails Hezbollah capture of Israeli soldiers

BEIRUT (AFP) - The Palestinian ruling party Hamas and Egypt's opposition Muslim Brotherhood have both congratulated Lebanese militant group Hezbollah on its capture of two Israeli soldiers.

"Hamas (whose military wing has also kidnaped an Israeli soldier) congratulates the leadership of Hezbollah, including Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and all his resistance (fighters), as well as the Palestinian people, the Arab and Muslim nations," a Hamas statement said Wednesday.

"This operation which comes two weeks after the capture of an Israeli soldier in Gaza, shows the weakness of the Israeli army which boasts that it is an invincible army," it said.

"Hezbollah's operation proves again the complimentarity of the resistance against the Zionist entity, whether it is in Palestine or in Lebanon."

The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood also congratulated Hezbollah.

2 Israeli Soldiers Captured By Hezbollah

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Hezbollah militants crossed into
Israel on Wednesday and captured two Israeli soldiers. Israel responded in southern Lebanon with warplanes, tanks and gunboats, and said that seven of its soldiers had been killed in the violence.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called the soldiers' capture "an act of war," and his Cabinet prepared to approve more military action in Lebanon — a second front in the fight against Islamic militants by Israel, which already is waging an operation to free a captured soldier in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army said three soldiers were killed in the initial raid, and four others were killed when their tank went over a land mine in southern Lebanon.

Olmert said he held the Lebanese government responsible for the two soldiers' safety, vowing that the Israeli response "will be restrained, but very, very, very painful."

Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah says he will not release the captives except as part of a prisoner swap.

Israeli jets struck deep into southern Lebanon, blasting bridges and Hezbollah positions and killing two civilians, the Lebanese officials said.

U.S. will give detainees Geneva rights

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration, called to account by Congress after the Supreme Court blocked military tribunals, said Tuesday all detainees at Guantanamo Bay and in U.S. military custody everywhere are entitled to protections under the Geneva Conventions.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said the policy, outlined in a new Defense Department memo, reflects the recent 5-3 Supreme Court decision blocking military tribunals set up by
President Bush. That decision struck down the tribunals because they did not obey international law and had not been authorized by Congress.

The policy, described in a memo by Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England, appears to change the administration's earlier insistence that the detainees are not prisoners of war and thus not subject to the Geneva protections.

The memo instructs recipients to ensure that all Defense Department policies, practices and directives comply with Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions governing the humane treatment of prisoners.

"You will ensure that all DOD personnel adhere to these standards," England wrote.

Word of the Bush administration's new stance came as the Senate Judiciary Committee opened hearings Tuesday on the politically charged issue of how detainees should be tried.

It’s very clear that they do not follow these rules and have no intentions of doing so. I understand that the administration is trying to prosecute this war carefully and politically correct, that is only done because there are those among us who use our troops and their deaths as political leverage and it disgusts me. Japan Considers Military Action Against North Korea

TOKYO - Japan said Monday it was considering whether a pre-emptive strike on
North Korea's missile bases would violate its constitution, signaling a hardening stance ahead of a possible U.N. Security Councilvote on Tokyo's proposal for sanctions against the regime. The vote itself could be delayed for several days, a news agency reported.

China asked Japan to postpone the vote until later this week and Japan is prepared to accept, Kyodo News agency said.

Japanese officials had earlier vowed to push ahead with a resolution that would impose sanctions on North Korea for its missile tests last week, but said Tokyo would not insist on a Monday vote.
Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi told reporters his government wants a vote on the measure "as soon as possible."

"I think we must send a message that's as clear as possible" to North Korea, he said.
Japan was badly rattled by North Korea's missile tests last week and several government officials openly discussed whether the country ought to take steps to better defend itself, including setting up the legal framework to allow Tokyo to launch a pre-emptive strike against Northern missile sites.

Japan has the inherit right to defend its country from aggressor nations such as North Korea. While the midget and his missile system are a clear and present danger to the national security of our country, they are even more of a danger to Japanese islands, which are less than 400 miles away. The midget has not made any intention of dismantling his ballistic or his nuclear weapons program. If Japan is serious with taking this threat head on and decides on military action, we have an obligation to our allies to be right there with them. This is just as much our problem as Japan’s, we need to be leading the way as usual, and this is a responsibility that we must take seriously. We have been avoiding this problem for far too long and it’s about time that we take serious action to prevent this madman from fulfilling his wishes of attacking our great country.

Gitmo suicide probe finds hints of plot

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - An investigation into three apparent suicides at the Guantanamo Bay prison has found that other detainees may have helped the men hang themselves or were planning to kill themselves too.

Authorities who searched other detainees' cells after the three were found hanged discovered instructions on tying knots, along with several notes in Arabic that were "relevant" to an investigation of a possible broader plot, officials said in court papers filed late Friday in Washington.

The detention center's commander, Navy Rear Adm. Harry B. Harris, said in an affidavit that investigators believe "the suicides may have been part of a larger plan or pact for more suicides that day or in the immediate future."

Authorities confiscated personal papers from nearly all 450 prisoners at Guantanamo Bay to "determine whether other suicides were planned or likely to be planned," Carol Kisthardt, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service agent in charge of the investigation, said in an affidavit.

Both affidavits were filed in support of a request for a judge to appoint a special review panel to review all the detainees' documents, which include letters from attorneys.

Lawyers for Guantanamo detainees have condemned the confiscation of the legal papers as a violation of attorney-client privilege and asked a judge to order their immediate return.

Investigators said they confiscated about 1,100 pounds of personal documents after three detainees were found hanging from their steel mesh cells before dawn on June 10 — the first reported deaths of prisoners at the prison.

Well many in the international community have condemned the United States over the issue of Guantanamo Bay and our treatment of our so called “detainees”.
With the suicides on June 10th the pressure had been racketed up on the Bush administration and with the subsequent ruling by the Supreme Court the lefties have been having a field day. It’s very obvious that those who killed themselves did so only for political reasons meant to derail the Bush administrations prosecution of this war on terror, of which we are so involved.
If they all want to kill themselves I say more power to them, less mouths for us to feed as far as I am concerned, not to mention there special place in the depths of hell of which they belong, seems only fitting to me.
President Bush has stated that none of these terrorist scum will be leaving anytime soon; these sub-humans do not rate good enough to get access to our legal system and our rights!
They have not participated in Geneva Convention and therefore are not covered by it. Even if we abide by it they do not, they are not a uniformed soldier of a state, remember these are the people who saw people’s heads off and kill innocent children by strapping bombs to them.

FBI disrupts New York City tunnel plot

NEW YORK - Authorities have disrupted planning by foreign terrorists who wanted to attack the New York City-area transportation system, the federal government announced Friday.

The planning appeared to be in the early stages, and the tunnels and other transportation routes weren't believed to have ever been at serious risk.

"We have disrupted a terrorist network that was in the planning stages of an attack," the FBI and Department of Homeland Security said in a statement.

Officials said the FBI had been monitoring Internet chat rooms and cited the arrest of a key suspect by Lebanese authorities as a significant break in the investigation.

Lebanese authorities, working with U.S. law enforcement agencies, arrested an al-Qaida operative who admitted to plotting a terror attack in New York City, a senior Lebanese security official said Friday.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said the arrest was made a month ago. The suspect was identified as Amir Andalousli, but his real name is Assem Hammoud, a Beirut native, the official said. The official said he was an al-Qaida member and had confessed to the plot.

World condemns North Korean missile tests

SEOUL, South Korea -

North Korea test-fired a seventh missile Wednesday, intensifying the furor that began when the reclusive regime defied international protests by launching a long-range missile and at least five shorter-range rockets earlier in the day.

The North's state-run media said Wednesday that the country was prepared to cope with any provocation by the United States. The announcer on the Korean Central Broadcasting Station did not mention the missile tests earlier in the day.

He also said North Korea's "strong war deterrent" has kept the country at peace. The state-run media often accuses Washington of planning an attack on Pyongyang.

An official at the South Korea Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed that North Korea had tested a seventh missile that was either short- or medium-range. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity citing agency rules, had no additional details.

Japan's Kyodo News agency reported that the missile landed six minutes after launch, but did not say where. The chief of Russia's general staff said that Russian tracking systems showed that Pyongyang may have launched up to 10 missiles during the day, the Interfax news agency reported.

The missiles, all of which apparently fell harmlessly into the Sea of Japan, provoked international condemnation, the convening of an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council and calls in Tokyo for economic sanctions against the impoverished communist regime.

Well I have been waiting for this. I knew, like many of you, that North Korea was going to launch these missiles in complete and utter defiance of the international community. I however did not expect them to launch on the 4th of July, which I believe was a direct slap in the face to the USA by the midget of North Korea . He is also only jealous of the large amounts of attention being paid to Irans nuclear capabilities, and wants a seat at the table.
China has urged caution on all sides, but with North Korea still launching missiles it seems the overwhelming outcry is having no effect, surprise surprise. There are ways to deal with this little annoyance, massive sanctions going beyond what's in place, making China apply large amounts of pressure to make North Korea comply.
If Clinton and Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright hadn't screwed up so bad and where made to be suckers, than we would not have this problem now!

Today is a day to celebrate all of the truly great things about our country, to remember all the American blood that had been spilled throughout our history to keep this country free. Without those soldiers we would not have been able to declare our independence from England and become the envy of the entire world. I am truly blessed as are those of you who were lucky enough to be born here. Women you should be thanking the good lord that you were born here and not in the Middle East or most parts of Africa.
